It seems that more and more society is drifting apart. People are doing their own thing. Everyone is looking out for number one. While it is good to take care of one's needs, as Christians we cannot forget the importance of the community of Christ. More often than not, that boils down to the local church to which you or I belong. In the days in which we live, the days just before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, I am reminded about the Scripture found in Hebrews 10:24-25 KJV, "And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." We need each other now more than ever. Yes worship with each other, but also take the time needed to fellowship together, help each other with needs, encourage one another. I am sure that if we follow this Biblical direction, we will realize a blessing that we otherwise would never have received. Blessings!
